Haunting the Traveler: A Photo Journal of Memories in Mysterious and Haunted Locations
Travel and writing have always been paramount to the photography I do, especially visits to historical or haunted locations. The work, however didn’t always fit snuggly into the collection that I make. I’ve given up trying to make it all work and made a new Instagram of photos from these trips.
The captions relate stories about the locations and my experiences there. It’s a travelogue but also a psychological profile and a way to knead mystical elements and anthropology into the work I do; it’s a venue for my writing and a place to share photographs and discover things about myself and the places I visit. It’s a notebook from where future shoots will derive.
